Leslie F*cking Jones by Leslie Jones

I enjoy reading memoirs from time to time but they don’t always land. Case in point: Matthew Perry (RIP) and Elliott Page’s were both fairly disappointing for me this year. Not so for Leslie Jones. It is written authentically in her voice, no ghost writers here! It’s a page turner, and you can’t help but root for her and laugh along with her journey all the way. This woman is a fighter and is funny as hell. I closed it thinking somebody better give Leslie her next gig and fast, because the world is missing out by not getting to hear from her all the time. If you enjoy comedy memoirs, this is definitely one you won’t want to miss.
